Chassis

All chassis main frame members consist of MIG-welded high grade Swedish steel to ensure maximum strength combined with a low weight. The frames’ I-beams are welded both inside and outside. The cross members are made of rectangular hollow beams, to allow for high torsional flexibility and high vertical rigidity.

Truck mounted

Hammar Lift is marketing our light lift model, the ML 12 for truck mounting on the North American market. Our truck mounted models are mainly used for handling and transporting 20’ containers and flats. We have in our European product range a number of other different truck mounted HAMMARs with lifting capacities from 26 000 to 66 000 lbs (12-30 tonnes) and have more than 35 years experience of this type of Sideloaders.
